We're gradually being discovered by more Schmitt descendants, and I can't say how gratifying it is to hear from you and to hear how the site has help advance your own research. One way to "give back" is to become a member. While you'll hopefully be moved to contribute a story or picture, even if you don't, your membership helps validate the site by showing that others are interested too.
